Hertford Community Church meets Sunday mornings in Cowbridge Halls (which belongs to the Hertford URC), right in the centre of Hertford. We also meet mid-week in small 'cell' groups in each others homes. Our Sunday morning meetings are very informal, and we have different people speaking every week about different subjects and scriptures from the Bible. We also have different worship leaders every week, with a growing musical worship team. Everyone is welcome at HCC!
Our vision is not just to preach the good news but also to BE good news, especially to the people living on the Pinehurst Estate. We run a pre-school on the estate and have an active children's ministry.
Hertford Community Church was formed in 1997, and we've been meeting in the Cowbridge Halls since 2009. Previously (since 2000) we met in the Pinehurst Community Centre, on the Pinehurst Estate. We are linked to the Pioneer Network, which is a network of churches all over the world. We also have close links with other churches in the surrounding area.
