School Staff

	Jacqui was the Pre-school Manager from September 2011 until 2023. She has now taken a step back to concentrate on other work, but remains as the Finance Manager.

	Mel is the Pre-school Leader. She has worked at the Pines almost since it started, and took over as leader in 2005. Shortly after joining us, having previously worked as a child-minder, Mel completed her NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Care and Education. Mel is responsible for the day-to-day running of the pre-school, including all aspects of curriculum planning.

	Selina is the Deputy pre-school Leader and SENCO. Selina was previously on our staff before taking maternity leave and a career break and we were pleased to have her rejoin our team in 2018, as her daughter left the pre-school to move into school. She has taken on the role of Deputy Leader form September 2020.


Sue, Carol, Fatma, Tina and Karen are our Pre-school Assistants. They work with us every week, on various days, and all live locally. Sue is well known on the estate and is a very experienced child-minder. Carol joined us during 2014 and is proving a valuable member of the team. She has completed her NVQ Level 2 in Early Years education since joining us. Fatma joint our team in September 2016 when we were looking for a Turkish speaker to assist with a child starting with us - she fitted in so well, we asked her to stay! She has recently completed her NVQ Level 3 in Early Years education. Tina joined us in 2012, having previously been a parent to children at the pre-school. She also works as the Admin manager for the pre-school. Karen is the newest member of our team, starting in March 2019 and she has proved to be a great asset to the team.
